Traditional Japanese Wagashi Making
Wagashi are traditional Japanese sweets typically enjoyed in combination with green tea. They are made in a wide variety of shapes and consistencies and with diverse ingredients and preparation methods. Some are popular across Japan and around the year while others are only available regionally or seasonally.
In this programme, students will be taught 40 unique skills to make and craft popular Wagashi. The main ingredient: White Bean Paste /Shiroan are prepared entirely with high-grade white beans. This programme aims to promote the popular Japanese food culture to the students.

Karen is the First Malaysian Wagashi Artist & Trainer certified by the prestigious Japan Salonaise Association (JSA). A designer turned educator, Karen has been actively involved in various education organizations for over 15 years.
4 Sessions (3 hours per session)
