The Mooncake Festival 2025

The Mooncake Festival, or Mid-Autumn Festival, is celebrated to mark a successful harvest and for family reunion, coinciding with the brightest and fullest moon of the year. It originated over 2,000 years ago, with ancient emperors worshipping the moon for a bountiful harvest, and is now an occasion for families to gather, share a meal and mooncakes, and admire the full moon.

1st October 2025—Cilantro Academy celebrates the Mooncake Festival with various hands-on activities and creative culinary projects for its students.

The academy hosts specific workshops where students learn to knead dough, wrap fillings, and press traditional designs, such as snow skin mooncakes, etc. It was a fun and exciting moment for students from various cultural backgrounds to join in and make the mooncakes together.

It was a memorable event for students to cherish.
