Malaysia Day is a national public holiday celebrated on September 16 to commemorate the formation of the Malaysian federation in 1963. The day marks the joining of Malaya, North Borneo (now Sabah), Sarawak, and Singapore to form Malaysia.
10th September 2025- The Cilantro Academy event team has organized “Malaysia Day” to foster cultural diversity among students and staff. It was a memorable and exciting event with some Malaysian kuih’ (desserts) and some old traditional games, which is called “Congkak.” It gives a unique experience for students to participate and enjoy themselves.
The event started from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Students and staff met at the venue and started to mingle and tried out some snacks that were served. The vibes were awesome, and the event was filled with fun and laughter.
The school has given valuable opportunities to educate young people about their heritage and the importance of national unity.
